SST uses industry-standard processors, including the 8051 microprocessor core.

These products also use SST SuperFlash® non-volatile memory technology, providing the following benefits:

SuperFlash is designed as user-configurable memory, which allows the smart card code developer to configure device memory to store code or data. The uniform page-size design allows code efficiency to translate into extra data space.
